These strange gaussian symbols are caused by Mr. Howard "Howie" Dweeble of Cleveland, Ohio who is convinced  that aliens are talking to him through his suitcase (which he carries with him at all times) and forcing him to dress in Hawaiin clothes.  The location of this gaussian symbol on your chart will depend on whether Howie and his suitcase are above ground or below ground.
